Keep free play in its place
- Set a time limit before opening a game and take regular breaks.
- Do not use play to escape stress, low mood, conflict or financial concerns.
- Remember that virtual chips have no monetary value and every result is independent.
- Stop when play is no longer enjoyable, even though no purchase or prize exists.
Warning signs
Consider taking a break if you find it difficult to stop, hide how much time you spend playing, neglect work or relationships, feel restless when not playing, chase virtual losses, or use social casino play as a substitute for real-money gambling. Free play can still become unhealthy behaviour.
Self-exclusion that cannot be reversed early
Signed-in players can activate a 24-hour, 7-day, 30-day or permanent exclusion directly from the Star Vault account page. The action signs the player out immediately and blocks password and Google sign-in until the selected period ends. Permanent exclusion remains in place unless required otherwise by law; Player Care cannot remove a timed exclusion early.
